浙江齒輪減速電機有限公司創建于1970年，原名浙江齒輪減速電機廠，1997年10月改制為有限責任公司，是YCJ系列齒減速電機和YVF系列變頻調速三相異步電動機全國聯合設計成員單位之一，是國家機械局和浙江省機械工業廳定點生產齒輪減速電機的專業工廠，企業已形成年10萬千瓦齒輪減速電動機的生產規模，成為浙江省齒輪減速電動機生產行業的最大企業，總產量位居全國第二，品種規格雄居全國首家。
公司設綜合管理部，技術質量部、生產制造部、營銷管理部四個部及供應科、房產科、財務科三個直屬科室。公司現在職工400余人，其中大中專畢業生97人，公司占地面積3萬平方米，建筑面積1.96萬平方米,擁有資產2595萬元,其中固定資產原值1505萬元,凈值1212萬元,所有者權益1007.23萬元.產品質量信譽卓著,市場全面活躍,公司被上級部門授予重合同守信用單位、文明單位等多種榮譽稱號，連續五年列入市百強企業，99年公司通過ISO9002質量保證體系的認證。2004年通過ISO9001國際質量體系的認證。
